Description:  Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071, private consultation with and consideration of Attorney’s advice regarding settlement offer for pending litigation regarding property damaged by a May 2019 hail and wind storm, regarding authorization of Superintendent Dr. Tom Giles, as an authorized representative of Bushland Independent School District, to execute any and all subsequent release and settlement documents, as may be appropriate and necessary to finalize settlement, and regarding authorization of Pearson Legal, P.C., as litigation counsel of record for Bushland Independent School District, to execute and file all motions and orders to dismiss or nonsuit pleadings, as may be appropriate and necessary to remove the pending litigation matter from the court’s docket.
