6.A. Consider and approve the positions of Assistant Principal for Elementary and High School for the 2021 -2022 school year.

7. ADJOURNMENT to CLOSED  or EXECUTIVE SESSION Pursuant to Texas Government Code Sections 551.071, 551.072, 551.074, and 551.082, the OPEN MEETINGS ACT, for the FOLLOWING PURPOSES:

7.A. Pursuant to Section 551.071 Consultation with attorneys regarding legal issues pertaining to Docket No. 014-R10-11-2020 before the Texas Commissioner of Education and Cause No. 2020DL-05282 in the 197th Judicial District Court of Cameron County, Texas.

7.B. Pursuant to Section 551.071 Consultation with attorneys regarding legal issues pertaining to potential proposed nonrenewal of B.O. subject to the issuance of final decision of the Texas Commissioner of Education  related to Docket No. 014-R10-11-2020.

7.C. Pursuant to Section 551.071 Consultation with Attorney regarding legal issues pertaining to Cause No. 1:20-cv-00001 in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, Brownsville. 

7.D. Pursuant to Section 551.074 - Discussion of Personnel Items
1.    Discuss  probationary non-chapter 21 contractual personnel for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year and next school year 2021-2022 for the High School Nurse.

8. RECONVENE into OPEN SESSION for Action on Matters Discussed in Executive Session.

8.A. Discussion and Possible Action regarding Docket No. 014-R-10-11-2020.
 

8.B. Discussion and Possible Action regarding Cause No. 1:20-cv-00001 in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, Brownsville. 

8.C. Discussion and Possible Action to propose the nonrenewal of chapter 21 contract employee B.O., subject to the issuance of final decision of the Texas Commissioner of Education related to Docket No. 014-R10-11-2020. 

8.D. Discussion and possible action  to approve probationary non-chapter 21 contractual personnel for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year and next school year 2021-2022 for the High School Nurse subject to receipt of all outstanding documentation.
