Semi-Annual Review of Closed Session Minutes: No less than semi-annually, a public body must meet to review the minutes of all closed meetings. This can occur in closed session. At the meeting, the public body must make a determination that (1) the need for confidentiality still exists as to all or part of those minutes; and (2) that Page 15 the minutes or portions thereof no longer require confidential treatment and are available for public inspection. The determination must be reported in open session. 5 ILCS 120/2.06(d). |
