Discussion: President Clint Duncan called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm and announced the presence of a quorum.

Discussion: Bryan Strand voiced the prayer and led the Pledge. Team of 8 each recite a portion of the Motto, Vision, Mission, and Beliefs.

Discussion: The following students and staff were recognized for their achievements:
*Stacy Deaton, Tabitha Houchens, Stacie Norton, Heather Carr, and Carrie Slay - In recognition of their contributions to Redwater ISD being named a Fine Arts District of Distinction by the Texas Art Education Association for the sixth consecutive year.

*Ella Arnold, Starr Berry, Zoey Bradford, Ellie Estes, Collyns Fouche, Madilyn Hankerson, Brynn Hensley, Hadley McMillan, Kynzee Pendley, Sophie Pinkham, Piper Smart, Cardyn Spry, Acelynn Thacker, Marley Walker, Maci Whitman, Juliet Whorton - In recognition of their first appearance at National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) Camp.

Discussion: John Ryther, Director of Technology, presented the district's reasons for internet outages during 2024-2025 to the board and noted efforts are underway to find solutions.

Discussion: Stephanie Roadcap, fifth grade science teacher at Redwater Intermediate School, was featured in ALT Magazine’s Back to School issue as an outstanding educator. The 2025 Dave Campbell's Texas Football Magazine released a special commemorative version with the Redwater Dragons on the cover.

Discussion: The board was provided the 2025-26 meal prices. Elementary breakfast is $2.35 and lunch is $2.85. Sixth through twelfth grade breakfast is $2.35 and $2.95 for lunch.

Discussion: The board was provided the combined totals of students' regular reimbursable meals, noting balances are already elevated.

IX.H.2. School Traffic

Discussion: Dr. Burns discussed school traffic flows. Possible change to Pre-K and Kindergarten drop-off and pick-up.

IX.H.3. Brightly

Discussion: Matt Wommack, Director of Operations, presented information regarding Brightly software for management of events, transportation, and technology.
