*Calvin Westrate and Khaymen Silveira - for advancing to the State of Texas Science & Engineering Fair; *Junior High Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE) Photography Medalists - Taylor Graham, Emma Lovelace, Trent Melancon; *Junior High Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE) Art Medalists - Darla Griggs, Emma Buster received two medals, Ashlin McRight received two medals and the distinguished Platinum Medal for her division; *Kaylin Tucker, Emily Jennings, Lana Bryan and Jayson Finley, members of the Redwater Science Team who competed at the Region 8 science fair. Kaylin took 1st place in Chemical/Physical Science, Emily took 1st place in Behavioral/Biological Science, and Lana Bryan & Jayson Finley took 3rd place in Behavioral/Biological Science; *Ella Godwin, Greer Early, Leighla Pearcy, Darah Teftteller, Dylan Pfister, Carlee Robinson, Dragon TV Crew Members who were recognized by the Texas Association of Journalism Educators Awards. Ella received the Superior Award for two Feature Stories, Greer & Leighla received the Excellent Award for a Feature Story, and Darah, Dylan, and Carlee received Honorable Mentions for two Feature Stories. *Ella Godwin, Miller Whitt, Kale Shumate, Madilyn Price, Dragon TV Crew Members who were recognized by the Student Television Network Awards. Ella received the Outstanding Achievement - Silver Medal Award for a High School Social Media Show, Miller & Kale received the Distinguished Merit - Bronze Medal Award for a High School Podcast, and Madilyn received a Silver Medal for the Dragon Digest; *Faithlyn Berry, Ella Calhoon, Ava Kordsmeier, members of the Dragon Cheerleading Team who were selected for special honors. Faithlyn was named a FCA All-Star Cheerleader, Ella was named a Texas All-State Cheerleader, and Ava was named a Texas All-State Cheerleader and a Texas Girls Coaches Association All-Star Cheerleader; *Anna Fryar, Eva Blair, Samantha Fritcher, Adisen Adams, Stephanie Shimpock, Kayle Fryar, Tiffiny Reed, Delaney Riley, Chloe Collins, Cloe Keister, members of the Redwater High School FCCLA chapter who competed in the Texas FCCLA State Competitive Events. Anna took 1st place in Early Childhood Education - Level III National Qualifier, Anna earned a Bronze Medal in the Family and Consumer Sciences Assessment, Eva, Samantha, and Adisen took 2nd place in Focus on Children - Level II National Qualifier, Stephanie & Kayle took 4th place in Interpersonal Communications - Level II, Tiffiny took 6th place in National Programs in Action - Level III, Delaney took 7th place in Sports Nutrition - Level II Family Consumer, Chloe Collins earned a Gold Medal in the Family and Consumer Sciences Assessment, Cloe Keister earned a Silver Medal in the Family and Consumer Sciences Assessment; *Makenzie May, a member of the Redwater High School FCCLA chapter, was selected as a National FCCLA Officer Candidate, making history as Redwater High School’s first-ever national officer candidate. She also earned a Gold Medal in the Family and Consumer Sciences Assessment in the Texas FCCLA State Competitive Events. |
