In addition to the Board and Superintendent, Aaric Davis, the following were also in attendance: Taylor Holte - Board Clerk, Noah Slay - Dir of Curriculum/Deputy Board Clerk, Ali Holcomb - Holton Recorder; Parents - Tara and Scott Harding; Teachers - Sarah Magee, McCrae Becker, Margaret Ramberge, Kim Clark, Connie Overstreet, Debbie Reding, and Hannah Stilwell; Citizens - Gilbert Hall and Delbert Boling.

Discussion:
The Board heard public comments from parents Tara and Scott Harding regarding the desire to have early morning workout program at Royal Valley High School.

Discussion:
Kelli Lambrecht requested for the elementary playground surfacing project to come back to the Board for discussion. It was noted that it would be on the summer 2026 projects discussion list during the September 10, 2025 meeting agenda.

Discussion:
McCrae Becker, Sarah Magee, Connie Overstreet, Margaret Ramberg, Hannah Stilwell, and Debbie Reding introduced themselves to the Board.

Discussion:
Mr. Davis presented to the Board the updated enrollment projections after the first day of school.

5.3. Hear Curriculum Director Update
Discussion:
Mr. Slay presented an update on the curriculum adoption process for the 2025-2026 school year. This year, we are working on 7-12 Mathematics.
He gave an overview of the summer tutoring program from this past summer. He also touched on professional development and mentoring activities taking place this year. |

6.2. Conduct Revenue Neutral Rate Hearing at 7:10 pm

Discussion:
At 7:10 PM, the Board conducted the Revenue Neutral Rate Hearing. Mr. Davis went over the Revenue Neutral Tax Rate. District resident, Gilbert Hall presented some concerns about exceeding the revenue neutral rate. Mr. Davis provided answers to some of Mr. Hall's statements. Revenue Neutral Rate Resolution 2025-9 was then adopted by a roll-call vote.
