Texas law (Education Code 33.901) requires public schools or charter schools with 80 % or more of enrolled students eligible for free or reduced-price meals in the National School Lunch Program to provide breakfast at no cost to all students.
Districts may also seek a waiver to opt-out of this requirement. FYI- Ehrhart is at 81.99 % ED. |

Description:
Each year, the school district must certify IMA certification. Simply stating that we will only use TEKS certified materials purchased with IMA funds.

IV.C. Salary Adjustment
Description:
I would like to add 5 more years to our current salary scale. This will give incentive for our veteran teachers to stay and entice veteran teachers to come to our district.
Also, adding stipends for Masters Degree, STEM sponsor and Department Head. |

I will have a copy for the meeting of the areas in the policy that we will need to make adjustments on. |
IV.F. Special Allotment Monitoring Program
Description:
The Ehrhart School has the opportunity to become a volunteer pilot school for the Special Allotment Monitoring System. This is a new Audit that will be performed by TEA focusing on six funded programs: Special Education, Bilingual/ESL, State Compensatory Education, Gifted and Talented, Career and Tech, and High School Education. We currently receive funds for four of the six categories. If we are accepted as a pilot we will go through a mock audit and will be exempt from an audit for three years.
