5.A. Consider the purchase of Hydronic Piping for C. E. King Middle School
Description:  It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve Nash Industries, Inc. to provide the removal and replacement of deteriorated hydronic (hot water) piping, insulation, and metal jackets for 200 feet of 3 inch and 200 feet of 4 inch of piping on the roof at C. E. King Middle School for a total cost not to exceed $84,896.27.  Nash Industries, Inc. will utilize Choice Partners Buy Board.
5.B. Consider the purchase of Science Equipment for the C. E. King High School Science Labs
Description:  It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve Flinn Scientific, Inc., as a member of a Cooperative Partnership, to provide science equipment for the science labs at the new C. E. King High School, at a price not to exceed $299,828.97 as the best value to the District with a copy to be attached to and become part of the minutes.

Adjournment to closed session at 7:47 p.m. pursuant to Texas Government Code Section: 551.071 to obtain legal advise regarding complaint(s) alleging violation(s) of prevailing wage rate requirements relating to the new Sheldon High School construction project, 551.072 to discuss the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property, 551.074 for the purpose of considering the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer, employee, or to hear complaints or charges against a public officer or employee and 551.076 for considering the deployment, specific occasions for, or implementation of, security personnel or devices.

9.A. Prevailing Wage Rate Dispute
Description:  Consider complaint(s) alleging violation(s) of prevailing wage rate requirements of Tex. Gov't Code, Chapter 2258 relating to the new Sheldon High School construction project and possible action regarding same including making an initial determination of whether good cause exists to believe that a contractor and/or subcontractor failed to pay prevailing wage(s) to one or more workers with a copy to be attached to and become part of the minutes.

10.A. Personnel Recommendations
Description:  It is recommended that the contract recommendations for the 2020-2021 school year be approved as submitted with a copy to be attached to and become part of the minutes.
10.B. Job Abandonment, Briana Derry
Description:  Based on Texas Education Code 21.205, it is recommended that the Board of Trustees find that good cause did not exist for Briana Derry to abandon her probationary employment contract on October 15, 2020 and authorize our superintendent to file a written complaint on behalf of the Board to the State Board for Educator Certification.
