August 30, 2023 at 6:30 PM - Special Meeting for Superintendent Transition

1) Call Meeting to Order: "I call this meeting of Aubrey Independent School District to order. Let the record show that a quorum of board members are present, that this meeting has been duly called and that Notice of this meeting has been posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551."

2) Public Forum Regarding an Item on an Agenda for an Open Meeting

2)A. Persons attending the meeting must complete a sign-up form and submit it to the secretary for the Board of Trustees prior to the meeting being convened.

3) Executive Session as authorized by Texas Government Code Section 551, Subchapters D & E:

Adjournment to closed session 

Pursuant to Texas Government Code Sections §551.071, to consult with the District's attorney, in person or by phone, on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the District under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with Chapter 551 of the Texas Local Government Code.

Pursuant to Texas Government Code Sections §551.074 for the purpose of considering the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer, employee, or to hear complaints or charges against a public officer or employee.

A.  Specifically, transition activities for the Superintendent.

4) Return to Open Meeting and take any action deemed necessary upon discussion in the closed meeting
