Description:
The school board meeting is a meeting in the public, not a public meeting. Nicollet School Board Policy provides that persons who wish to have a subject discussed at a public school board meeting are encouraged to notify the superintendent’s office in advance of the school board meeting. The school board chair will recognize one speaker at a time and will rule out of order other speakers who are not recognized, violations of data privacy, or inappropriate comments.

Discussion:
Approve the removal and replacement of Kim Moske as a signer on the ISD 507 ProGrowth General and Memorial Scholarship accounts with Frances Long effective July 1, 2025.
SMS has transferred Kim Moske payroll specialist to another district. Frances Long payroll specialist for SMS began working with Nicollet public schools July 1, 2025 Frances has experience working in school finance for the St. Peter public schools The board raised concern of the25-26 LOA rate increases for the non classified staff. After some discussion and clarification on Step changes that happen within the school system, the vote went to approval. |

10. APPROVE FY 26 LTFM APPLICATION
Description:
MS 123B.595 requires the school board to approve a ten-year facility plan each year. The plan is required for the district to receive Long-Term Facilities Maintenance (LTFM) Revenue. The revenues are included in the approved FY 24 and FY 25 General Fund Budgets. Major facilities projects are individually approved by the school board. The plan includes placeholder budget items in anticipation of possible projects in the years ahead. The superintendent recommends approving the FY 26 Long-term Facilities Maintenance Application. 11. APPROVE CHANGES TO THE 25-26 SCHOOL CALENDAR
Description:
Superintendent recommends the school board amends the adopted 2025-2026 School Calendar adopted at the February 2025 Board meeting. The amendment removes the March 23-24, 2026 PD dates to August 20-21, 2025. The purpose of this request followed inquiries by teachers to move from the Music Trip break to August, 2025. A survey was taken and it was overwhelming for moving the recommended dates. Add two new to district workshop days, August 18-19 for the purpose of introduction and preparation as a new to district teacher.
