1. Superintendent Eval
Description:
Please find attached an instrument we can use for my annual superintendent evaluation. It aligns directly with the instruments we use for our principals and teachers. We should schedule a special board meeting in January to discuss which one or two domains the Board would like me to focus on for the new year. I'll add a discussion to the December board meeting agenda. |
2. Winkelman's Minutes for Bi-Weekly Construction Meeting
Description:
Please see attached minutes from the latest construction meeting. |
3. ARY's Response to Pneumatic Controls
Description:
Please see attached ARY's thoughts about the expected lifespan of pneumatic controls. Remember this was taken out of the project for an estimated $400,000 savings. |
4. Early Childhood Scholarships
Description:
I asked Dr. Gurbada a few months ago to please pursue early learning scholarships for our school district. It's surprising and disappointing to learn we do not qualify for the significant state assistance. It is because the percentage of qualifying families for free and reduced meals in our school district is decreasing. This is of course a good thing/sign for our families. It just doesn't help when asking for state money. |
5. Wrestling Club Donations
Description:
Mary told me Jennie at MCR has requested the attached information. Please contact Mary with any questions you have about the documents. |
6. Arne Duncan Pinpoints Where Schools Fail
Description:
I came across an interview with Arne Duncan that you may find interesting. I was a little surprised 30% of high school graduates in Massachusetts need to take remedial classes in two- and four-year colleges. It unfortunately shows we all have a long ways to go to prepare all children for postsecondary learning. |
7. Weekly Bills
