The minutes from the Regular Board Meeting on August 24, 2026. Recommend approval of the minutes from the meetings. |

4.B. APPROVAL OF BILLS
Treasurer Thompson will have been at the school site to review bills, ask questions, and confirm information prior to the meeting. Recommendation is to approve the bill payment of $1,738,919.30 subject to any adjustments or direction offered by the Treasurer. |

4.C. TREASURER REPORT
Treasurer Thompson will have reviewed financial information for the board. This information is included in the Treasurer's Report. |

4.E.2. ROCORI Secondary Art Teacher, Shelby Teal Forsberg, is requesting leave from December 21, 2026 through April 23, 2027.

4.E.3. Cold Spring Elementary Teacher, Emily Rustad, is requesting leave starting January 18, 2027, for 14 weeks. She has an expected return to work date of April 26, 2027.

4.E.4. Cold Spring Elementary Paraprofessional, Brenda Zumwalde, is requesting leave from October 28, 2026 to January 20, 2027 with an expected return date of January 21, 2027.

4.E.5. ROCORI Secondary School cook's helper, Dianna Callais, is requesting leave from September 1, 2026 through September 16, 2026.

4.F. RETIREMENTS-RESIGNATIONS

4.F.1. Cold Spring Elementary paraprofessional, Vickie McIntire, will be retiring effective September 30, 2026.
|

4.F.2. John Clark Elementary Head Custodian, Tom Goerger, will be retiring December 2, 2026.

4.G. RETIRED-REHIRED CONTRACTS
The following contract is being presented for a retire-rehire teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Recommendation to approve the contracts as presented. |

4.G.1. ROCORI Middle School English Teacher for 5 terms beginning November 30, 2026 through April 16, 2027-Brenda Vierzba

4.H. LANE CHANGES
The Master Agreement with our teaching staff allows our teachers to request a lane change in September, December and March of each school year. A report of the requested lane changes is included in your documents for approval. Once approved, the change becomes part of their pay the following month. Recommendation: Approve the lane changes as presented. |

Action items receive individual attention because of the nature of the issues, the need to discuss or review the information prior to taking action, or the specific kind of action required for the item. |

5.A. RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT A DONATION
Be It Resolved, by the School Board of ISD 750, ROCORI, as follows, that the following donation be accepted with gratitude: Thank you to all the organizations and individuals for their donations. The school district appreciates your generosity and continued support. Recommend adoption of the resolution to accept the donation

5.B. ALPINE SKI PROGRAM COOPERATIVE SPONSORSHIP
A school has been added to the Alpine Ski Cooperative. The district needs to sign a dissolution of the current cooperative and sign a new agreement with the addition of Paynesville School District. Recommendation to approve as presented. |
|
5.C. MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN SERVICE EMPLOYEES INTERNATIONAL UNION, LOCAL 284 AND ISD 750 REGARDING ANNUAL DISTRICT COMMITTEE STIPEND FOR PARAPROFESSIONALS/HT BARGAINING UNIT MEMBERS.
Recommendation to approve the MOU as presented. |

5.D. APPROVE PRELIMINARY LEVY
The levy implementation process is conducted in two stages--initial certification and final certifications of the tax assessments applied within the School District. In order to prepare and finalize the levy authorization, initial action is required in September to set the expected tax levy within the district. Recommendation: Approve the initial maximum levy authority, with final amounts to be approved in December. |

5.E. INSURANCE RENEWAL
Many of the District's insurance policies are set for renewal on October 1st. The District has received quotes on the property, liability, and worker's compensation insurance. Information about the quote is included. Recommendation to approve the insurance policy. |

7.B. BUDGET COMPARISON REPORT AUGUST 2026
The business office provides an update of district expenditures and revenues through the Budget Comparison report. The report is intended to provide a financial picture of the district in a couple ways. One is to compare current year expenditures to the previous year. The second is to simply give a report on the current financial status. In addition to the report, special items of note are highlighted in the explanations offered. This report does not require formal action but is provided as an informational item. |

8. COMMENTS FROM VISITORS
The agenda is open to visitors of the meeting to offer comments to the school board. The comments should follow the adopted district guidelines which are printed and available at the meeting. As a general rule, items introduced in the opportunity for comments do not receive action from the School Board, but are taken under advisement or consideration for future action.
