It is recommended that the Board move into closed session to consider information regarding the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee of the public body or against legal counsel for the public body to determine its validity; collective negotiating matters between the public body and its employees or their representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees; and student disciplinary cases.

12.1. Tentative Budget FY 2023
It is recommended that the Tentative Budget for the 2022-2023 school year (FY 2023) be accepted as presented.  
12.2. Budget Hearing Notice
It is recommended that a public hearing on the 2022-2023 Budget be scheduled for the regular Board meeting of Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 7:00 p.m., and that appropriate public notice of the availability of the Tentative Budget and public hearing be given.
12.3. Resolution for Adoption of Amended Budget for FY22
It is recommended that the Board approve the 2021-2022 Amended Budget as presented by the Superintendent on “School District Budget Form (ISBE 50-36) July 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022” and that the same is hereby adopted as the budget of the fiscal year which is hereby fixed and declared to be beginning July 1, 2021 and ending June 30, 2022.

It is recommended that the consent agenda for June 21, 2022 be approved as listed.

Certify the hazardous crossings within the boundaries of School District 69 for the 2022-23 school year as presented.
14.5. Resolution Authorizing Prompt Payment of Bills
Approve the resolution titled "Resolution Authorizing Prompt Payment of Bills" and authorize the President and Secretary to sign on behalf of the Board.
14.6. Approve the cancellation of the July 19, 2022 Board of Education meeting.
14.7. Workers’ Compensation Insurance
Approve the policy from Illinois Public Risk Fund for the period July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023, at the rate of $60,931 and authorize the Business Manager to sign the policy document.
14.8. Liability Insurance
Approve the renewal from Collective Liability Insurance Cooperative (CLIC) for the period July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023, at the rate of $74,145 and authorize the Business Manager to sign the policy document.
14.9. Merit Recognition Stipend
It is recommended that the Board of Education approve merit recognition stipends to selected employees in recognition of the service related to coordination of and responsibility for weekend and holiday health information line coverage.
14.10. Approve the Resolution Authorizing the July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2026 Multi-Year Performance-Based Assistant Principal's Employment Contract with Karen Foley
14.11. Approve the following policies as first read: 3:70, 5:10, 5:70, 5:80, 2:230, 4:165, 5:110, and 5:240.

It is recommended that the Board of Education accept the donations to the school district as presented. 
14.14. Consolidated District Plan and Schoolwide Title 1 Plan
Approve the Skokie District 69 Consolidated District Plan and Schoolwide Title 1 Plan as required by the Illinois State Board of Education for the ESSA grants
15. Comments from Visitors
The President will recognize members of the audience who wish to make comments to the Board regarding any topics related to School or District business. The Board will take all comments under advisement without discussion. If a member of the public raises an issue or concern that requires follow-up, the Board President or Superintendent will do so in a timely manner.
