6.1. Approve Preliminary Levy at the Maximum
Description:
This is a 10% decrease . The main reason is that the district will access more aid through location equity and the alternative facility project of $340,000 is paid off. We will provide greater detail to the finance committee and in our presentation for the Truth in Taxation Hearing. The levy is still a moving target at this point and we recommend certifying the maximum on this preliminary levy.

6.2. Declare Items as Surplus
Description:
Due to the fact that the district is a public entity and makes purchases using public funds, we must seek the Board's approval to declare these items as surplus. This means that we will no longer need the items and the administrative team will:
A. Dispose of the items or B. Donate the items or C. Recycle the items or D. Sell the items via online auction through MASBO This is standard procedure. The items listed in the attachments below are no longer needed as part of our educational programming. |

Description:
Ballots will be distributed and collected this evening in order to meet deadlines. The DO will send the ballots in together.
