Description:
4/25 Committee Discussion:
-policy or handbook language -reference open meeting law -absent from 20% of core meetings in 2 of 3 quarters (regular, work session, major committee) -approved absences (medical, family medical, mission-critical for work) -absences communicated to board chair 5/18 Committee Discussion w/MSBA: -suggested consequence sequence (mentoring, letter of censure, removal) -add language to Code of Ethics: "I agree to regularly attend board meetings...." -removal from committee assignment for poor attendance/participation -13D.02 OML reference for remote meetings -3 days notice for posting -suggestion for a board member to publicly state reason for virtual attendance -reminder all votes need to be roll call when one or more members are joining remotely |
