F.3. Consider Approval of Campus and District Performance Objectives
Description:
District Performance Objectives
The District Performance Objectives have been developed by a committee of parents, teachers, business and community representatives and administrators. An extensive needs assessment was conducted and reviewed in preparation for the objectives. Along with the Long Range Plan, the District Performance Objectives will serve as the focus for the development of the annual District Plan. Campus Performance Objectives Teachers, parents, and administrators review the campus needs as identified by the state accountability system and the campus needs assessment. The campus performance objectives are developed to address the identified campus needs. These performance objectives become the focus for the annual campus improvement plan. |
F.4. Consider Approval of Other Revenues Investment Policy - CDA (Local)
Description:
It is a legal requirement for this policy to be reviewed and approved by the School Board annually. An update to this policy was approved by the School Board on November 17, 2020. No changes have been made to the policy since that date.
The District is required to inform the board of any Public Funds Investment Act Legislation changes. No changes have been made since 2019. District's Investment Officer Training: Janette Owens received the required 10 hours of training on October 21st and 22nd of 2020. Kim Alexander will need to get 10 hours of training with White Settlement ISD. 5 hours are scheduled on November 15, 2021. |

Description:
WSISD is participating this school year in an IDEA cyclical monitoring review to determine compliance with federal and state laws for serving students with disabilities. For districts in the Cycle 3 review group, TEA is requiring board-adopted local policy in two areas:

G.2. Consider an Order Canvassing the November 2, 2021 Special Election
Description:
Official election results for the November 2, 2021 Special Bond Election are attached. Proposition A received 1,159 votes for, 1,173 against, and did not pass. Proposition B received 1,190 votes for, 1,127 against, and passed. The Board of Trustees is requested to Consider the Order Canvassing the Votes, Certifying the Election Results.

G.3. Consider Resolution to Cast Votes and Submit Ballot for Tarrant Appraisal District Board of Directors
Description:
The terms of service for the five members of the Board of Directors for Tarrant Appraisal District will expire on December 31, 2021, and a new two-year term begins January 1, 2022. Members of the Board are appointed by vote of the governing bodies of the taxing units. Per section 6.03(d) of the Texas Property Tax Code, White Settlement ISD may cast 35 votes all for one candidate or distribute the 35 votes among any number of candidates listed on the ballot.
