I. Call meeting to order and establish a quorum
Description:
President Britton - "I call this meeting of the Elkhart Independent School District to order. Let the record show that a quorum of board members is present, that this meeting has been duly called, and that notice of this meeting has been posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551."

II. Public Forum: No presentation shall exceed five minutes (Local Policy BED). If during the open forum period, a member of the public asks a question about an item not listed on the public agenda, the board or any of its members may respond by providing specific factual information or a recitation of an existing policy, but members may not discuss or deliberate the question.
