Description:

9.12. Designation of Superintendent Mike Redmond as the Identified Official with Authority (IOwA) for the MDE External User Access Recertification System.
Description:
The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) requires that school districts annually designate an Identified Official with Authority to comply with the MNIT Enterprise Identity and Access Management Standard which states that all user access rights to Minnesota state systems must be reviewed and recertified at least annually. The Identified Official with Authority will assign job duties and authorize external user’s access to MDE secure systems for their local education agency (LEA). The Board recommends to authorize Mike Redmond to act as the Identified Official with Authority (IOwA) for Shakopee Public School District 0720-01.

9.13. Designation of the Superintendent’s Designee, Learning, Teaching, & Equity Department Administrative Assistant (Alison Johnson), as the Education Identity and Access Management (EDIAM) security manager.
Description:
The EDIAM Security system manages user accounts and authorization to secure website systems for the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE), Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB), and P20W (SLEDS and ECLDS).

ADVISORY RECOMMENDATION: Shift to the in-person learning model for students in the IHD program in grades K-2 on January 25. Grades 3-5 remain in distance learning. Grades 3-5 return to in-person learning on February 8.
