V.A. Approve Calendar for 2016-2017 School Year

V.B. Receipt and consideration of written certification under Texas Election Code 2.052 from the AISD Superintendent, i.e., the authority responsible for having the official ballot prepared, that the two candidates running for the two Board of Trustee positions in the May 7, 2016, trustee election are unopposed for election to the offices.

V.C. Deliberation and action to adopt an order in accordance with Texas Election Code 2.053 relating to the May 7, 2016, Trustee Election the "Election") that accomplishes the following:
a.Cancels the Election
b.Declares the two unopposed candidates (Mathew Dolle and Roy DeAnda) for the Election elected
c.Directs that a copy of the Board’s order cancelling the Election be posted on election day at each polling place that would have been used in the Election
d.Directs that a Certification of Election be issued to Mathew Dolle and Roy DeAnda in the same manner   and at the same time as provided for a candidate elected at the election
