Description:
Announcement by the President whether a quorum is present, that the meeting has been duly called, and that the notice of the meeting has been posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meeting Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551.

IV. Executive Session
Description:
The Board will go into Executive Session under Authority of Texas Government Code Section 551.074 - An executive session may be held to deliberate the appointment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of a public school officer or employee 551.129 - A governmental body may use a conference call, videoconference call, or communications over the internet to conduct a public consultation with its attorney in an open meeting of the governmental body or a private consultation with its attorney in a closed meeting of the governmental body. 551.0821 - In cases involving the discipline of a public school child where discussions might reveal that the child's identity.
