8.B.2. Consider approving the FY26 Annual Financial Report (AFR), as presented.
RELEVANT INFORMATION: The PUSD #1 Governing Board officially approved the FY26 Annual Financial Report (AFR) on Oct 6, 2026. However, an error was subsequently discovered during the district's annual audit. PUSD #1 had applied for a grant to purchase additional AED machines for Prescott High School. Initially, the grant was classified as state-funded, and the revenue and expenditures were assigned a corresponding state fund number. Following the award, the funding source was updated to federal funding, requiring a reclassification to a federal fund number. Unfortunately, the change was not communicated well to the awardees. As a result, FY26’s AFR needs to be updated. $14,877.59 in revenue and expenditures was transferred from line 32 to line 19 on page 5 of the AFR. Presenter: Brian Moore, Chief Financial Officer
