Description:
Any citizen who would like to address the Board will be able to do so as the item on the regular agenda. Comments will be limited to 2 minutes per subject. If further time is needed, concerns should be addressed to the Superintendent. Personnel matters will not be discussed in a public meeting. Items that appear under the heading Routine and Regular Business will not be discussed or comments taken unless it is requested that they be removed from that category and placed on the regular agenda. Action on Routine and Regular Business will be acted upon with one motion and one vote. |

Discussion:
1)Recognize staff. Adult in distress. The adult was down. Administered CPR and called 911 and saved his life. Testament to the kind of man he is. God put me there and I did it!
2) Michael Widener and Bonnie McKenzie. State Power Lifting State Competition in Albuquerque. Proud of his team; Great group of kids. State Champions; Sean Cruz - 2nd in 275 (10th grade) The longer you are in this program the better chance you have. Boys team took 6th. Girl's team 4 girls ranked number one in the State. Atria Wells,Pauline Saizon (smallest lifter in the State 88 pounds)- 3rd Won by 2 points. Kiana Munoz - 5th . Cassandra Milsine - 1st place. Sienna Ortiz - newcomer; Most improved lifter. Finished 6th. Alyssenee Navarette - came out in December; helped tremendously - 6th. Alexis Rou (10th) 7th Sophia Trujillo - 2nd Place - Campbell Foster - best lifter in her class (165) bench records in 181 and 165. Best girl lifter in State Competition. Beat Alamo by 2 points. 3) Teacher Recognition - International Teachers - Could not send them back without saying thanks you.. Donna Johns - Joyful and sad. - Cotonwood Group. 4) CKH National Showcase Schools- 6 schools being recognized - Surveys, Students and Staff. - CECHS, ECEC, Cottonwood, Desert Willow, Monterrey, and Ocotillo Elementaries 5) NMABE Awards - Roseary - Prestigious Matias L. Chacon Award. Veronice Ramirez - Henry W. Pascual Teacher Excellence in Bilingual Education Award. 6) Attendance Awards - Best ATtendance for March - Monterrey Elementary - Secondary - CIS @ Alta Vista Most improved attendance secondary - CHS and Elementary - Desert Willow Elementary 7) Superintendent - |
