II.A. Adoption of the Paraprofessional Agreement 2026-2028

Description:
The GCED Board negotiating team and the paraprofessional bargaining unit have reached a tentative two-year agreement covering the 2026-27 and 2027-28 school years. The agreement provides wage and benefit increases intended to maintain competitive compensation for paraprofessionals while providing a predictable two-year financial commitment for the Education District. Education Minnesota-Educational Support Professionals, Local No. 7371 voted to ratify the agreement on Monday, August 31, 2026. The Board will review and vote on the proposed agreement.
