4. Consider and take possible action to accept the recommendation from the evaluation committee following a Request for Qualification (RFQ) for legal services seeking contracted professional services in accordance with the Professional Services Procurement Act and with the understanding that Education Code 44.031 does not apply to a contract for professional services (CH Legal). Consider the law firm selected based on competence and qualifications and cost that is fair and reasonable under such evaluation.
