Description:  The Gonzales County Tax Assessor-Collector, has submitted the 2025 final roll report for review and approval. The 2025 final roll report (which includes the levy totals) has been included on the next page.

Note: The report has a different format due to the County transferring to a different software last year.
 

Description:  Participation in the CAD Board of Directors election is an important responsibility of the taxing entities within Gonzales County. The Board of Directors oversees the appraisal district’s policies, budget, and overall governance, ensuring fair and equitable property appraisals that form the basis for local taxation.

Casting a vote through written resolution allows this governing body to formally express its support for a qualified nominee who will represent the interests of the district and its taxpayers. This action ensures that the entity fulfills its statutory role in the appraisal district election process as outlined in the Texas Property Tax Code.
 

Description:  The bid received by the County on this property conformed to resale policies and was, therefore, approved by the Commissioners at Court on October 27, 2025, pending the approval of the other taxing entities.

Description:  The proposed Board and Superintendent Guardrails represent the Board's collective direction for the district and define the parameters within which the Superintendent is expected to operate.  These items serve as essential components of the district's governance framework, ensuring a clear alignment between the Board's strategic priorities, the Superintendent's operational leadership, and the district's mission to improve outcomes for all students.

Board Goals articulate the measurable outcomes the Board expects the district to achieve over the coming year(s), focusing on key areas such as student achievement, equity, community engagement, and fiscal responsibility.  These goals were developed through a collaborative process involving Board input and analysis of district performance data.

Superintendent Guardrails establishes the boundaries and expectations for the Superintendent's decision-making and operational management.  These constraints ensure that district operations reflect the Board's values, comply with policy and law, and maintain ethical and effective stewardship of resouces.

By approving these goals and constraints, the Board strengthens its governance role by:

• Clarifying priorities for the Superintendent and district staff;
• Establishing measurable benchmarks for accountability and monitoring;
• Ensuring alignment of resources with strategic outcomes; and
• Reinforcing transparency and trust with the community.

The approval of these documents will guide the Superintendent's work for the 2025-26 school year and serve as the foundation for ongoing monitoring and evaluation throughout the year.

The TASB ConnectED Texas program was developed in
response to growing concerns about inadequate or unreliable cellular coverage on school campuses and the potential impact on safety and security.

Following a two-year review, TASB partnered with Diamond Communications to create this no-cost program aimed at helping districts address these challenges.

Through the installation of cellular infrastructure on district-owned properties, the program provides:

•  Improved cellular service and connectivity
•  Enhanced emergency communication capabilities
•  A potential long-term revenue stream for your district
