Description:
According to TEC, §28.004(a), the board of trustees of each school district shall establish a local SHAC to assist the district in ensuring that local community values are reflected in the district's health education instruction.
The membership of SHAC should include persons from multiple groups including parents, community members, school district employees, and any other interested parties. The first meeting for the 2025-2026 school year is tentatively scheduled for September 24, 2024 at 12:00 pm pending your approval of the membership list. |
