Description:  Time is set aside preceding the action agenda to allow citizens the opportunity to comment or raise issues concerning items that will be considered for action by the Board. Persons desiring to address the Board must complete a Speaker Registration Card and submit it to the president. Individual time limits are three (3) minutes.

Description:  The Board will review items to be placed on the agendas for June 10, 2025, June 17, 2025, and  July 29, 2025 board meetings.

Description:  The Board will review the quarterly calendar of planned meetings and agenda items for the months of April - June 2025 and July - August 2025.

Description:  OPEN MEETING RULE (Texas Government code 551.001 et seq.) “Any action taken by a governmental body at a meeting on a subject which was not stated on the agenda in the notice posted for such meeting can be made void. The requirement for notice prescribed by this section does not apply to matters about which specific factual information or a recitation of existing policy is furnished in response to an inquiry made at such meeting, whether such inquiry is made by a member of the general public or by a member of the governmental body. Any deliberation, discussion, or decision, with respect to the subject about which inquiry was made shall be limited to a proposal to place such subject on the agenda for a subsequent meeting of such governmental body for which notice has been provided in compliance with the Act.” In compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Denton ISD will provide an interpreter for languages other than English and a sign language interpreter for the hearing impaired if requested at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled meeting. The Board requests citizens attending public meetings observe appropriate rules of decorum. Therefore, please refrain from private conversations while the Board is in session, and from expressing your agreement or disagreement with a speaker by applause or other forms of demonstration. No signs, placards, or other audio or visual props will be allowed in the Boardroom.
