2.B. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section § 551.074 to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassigned, duties discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee; including a discussion on the recommendation to propose the termination/discharge of the probationary contract of Kendall Pearson prior to the end of the contract period. 

2.C. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section § 551.071 to consult with the District's attorney, in person or by phone, on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the District under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code; including a discussion on the recommendation to propose the termination/discharge of the probationary contract of Kendall Pearson prior to the end of the contract period.

Consultation with legal counsel regarding and/or involving pending or contemplated litigation or a settlement offer or on a matter which the School District's legal counsel determines should be confidential including contract negotiations in accordance with Government Code § 551.082 § 551.0821 § 551.087 and § 551.071 respectively; Hawkland v. 13. OPEN FORUM FOR NON-AGENDA ITEMS

13.A. Persons attending the meeting may request an Open Forum Sign-Up Card. The card must be completed in its entirety and submitted to the Board President or designee prior to the meeting being convened. This second Open Forum allows individuals to address the Board on any subject, except personnel and individual/specific students.  Any personnel concern should be brought directly to the attention of the Superintendent prior to the meeting.  Speakers will be limited to five (5) minutes.  When more than one individual wishes to address the same topic, the Board President may ask the group to appoint one spokesperson.
