Description:
For the purpose of consideration of matters for which closed or executive sessions are authorized by Title 5, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code §(.071-084), whereupon the Superintendent, at the request of the President of the Board of Education, will present for the Board's discussion the following matters:

2.B. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.0821, to deliberate a matter regarding a public school student if personally identifiable information about the student will necessarily be revealed by the deliberation, including to conduct a Level III hearing on a student matter..

2.C. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.074, to hear a complaint or charge against an officer or employee, or to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee, including to conduct a Level III hearing on a student matter.

2.D. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071, to consult with the District’s attorney, in person or by phone, on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the District, under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, including to conduct a Level III hearing on a student matter.

14. OPEN FORUM FOR NON-AGENDA ITEMS
|
14.A. Persons attending the meeting may request an Open Forum Sign-Up Card. The card must be completed in its entirety and submitted to the Board President or designee prior to the meeting being convened. This second Open Forum allows individuals to address the Board on any subject, except personnel and individual/specific students. Any personnel concern should be brought directly to the attention of the Superintendent prior to the meeting. Speakers will be limited to five (5) minutes. When more than one individual wishes to address the same topic, the Board President may ask the group to appoint one spokesperson.
