The Manor ISD Board of Trustees makes the following emergency amendment to its previously posted meeting agenda for Thursday, May 26, 2022, in order to respond to threatened acts of lawlessness or violence, which constitute an emergency pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.045:
 
Closed Session -
Pursuant to Texas Government Code Sections 551.076, 551.0821, 551.071, and 551.029, the Board will convene in closed session for deliberation concerning threatened acts of lawlessness or violence and District response to same, including possible telephone consultation with legal counsel regarding same. 
 
Open Session -
Possible action from closed session items.

Commentaries and/or questions are limited to the public forum section of the set (said) agenda as is provided in Board Policy (BED).
Pursuant to Manor ISD Board policy BED (Local), all other board meetings public comments shall be limited to items on the agenda posted with notice of the meeting. An individual's comments to the Board shall not exceed three minutes. Anyone who wants to participate in this portion of the meeting must sign up  before 6:00pm, May 26, 2022 and indicate the topic they wish to address. The Board will take speakers in turn from the sign-up sheet.
