Description:
Announcement by Board President on whether a quorum is present and that notice of the meeting has been posted for the time and manner required by law.

2. Adjourn to Closed Session
Description:
For the purpose of considering matters for which closed sessions are authorized by Title 5, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code Sections (.071-.084), whereupon the Superintendent at the request of the Board President, will present for the Board's consideration or discussion the following matters:

2.1. Personnel Matters

2.1.1. To deliberate the evaluation, performance, duties and possible reassignment of the Athletic Director/Head Coach
|
|
2.1.2. To deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee
|

2.2. Consultation with School Attorney
Description:
Sec.551.071. CONSULTATION WITH ATTORNEY; CLOSED MEETING. School Board shall seek the advice of its attorney
(A) pending or contemplated litigation; or
(B) a settlement offer; or
(2) on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to
the governmental body under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with this chapter.
