Description:
Announcement by Board President on whether a quorum is present and that notice of the meeting has been posted for the time and manner required by law.

2. Adjourn to Closed Session
Description:
For the purpose of considering matters for which closed sessions are authorized by Title 5, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code Sections (.071-.084), whereupon the Superintendent at the request of the Board President, will present for the Board's consideration or discussion the following matters:

2.1. Attorney-client consultation with Board's legal counsel, Walsh Anderson, regarding the pending litigation in Manor Independent School District v. County of Travis and Dana DeBeauvoir in her Official Capacity as County Clerk and Election Officer, Cause No. D-1-GV-08-000820, in the District Court of Travis County, Texas, 98th Judicial District. This item may be held in closed session pursuant tot he Authority of Texas Government Code Section 551.071.

4.1. Consideration and possible action regarding the pending litigation in Manor Independent School District v. County of Travis and Dana DeBeauvoir in her Official Capacity as County Clerk and Election Officer, Cause No. D-1-GV-08-000820, in the District Court of Travis County, Texas, 98th Judicial District.

4.2. Consideration and possible action regarding ordering the general Trustee election for June 14, 2008 as ordered by the 98th Judicial District Court of Travis County and authorizing the Interim Superintendent to take all additional action as necessary to such election, including but not limited to notification of voters and any necessary modifications to the election order and /or notice for such election.
