10.C. 25-26 Behavior Analysis
Presenter:
Daron Worrell
Description:
Administration will present an analysis of student discipline data for the 2025-2026 school year, covering the period from the beginning of the year through Spring Break. The report includes a breakdown of the most frequent behavior incidents at both the district and campus levels, highlighting trends in physical aggression, classroom disruption, noncompliance, and cell phone violations. The data reflects a progression of behaviors across grade levels, with early indicators of physical and developmental behaviors at the elementary level, increasing disruption and peer conflict at the junior high, and higher levels of engagement and compliance concerns at the high school. This analysis is being used to guide districtwide planning and supports the implementation of a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) beginning in the 2026 school year. The MTSS framework will focus on establishing consistent expectations, strengthening Tier 1 systems, and providing targeted interventions to address behavior proactively and reduce escalation over time. No action is required. This item is presented for informational purposes and to provide the Board with an update on current discipline trends and the district’s plan for improvement.
