7. PERSONNEL CLOSED SESSION: Pursuant to §551.074(1), Texas Government Code, the Board of Trustees may meet in closed session to discuss personnel matters, including employee contract renewel/nonrenewels. Any action, decision, or vote in this matter will be taken in open session, according to law. 

8. CLOSED SESSION: The Board of Trustees will meet in executive (closed) session to discuss certain matters excepted from public disclosure by the following statutory provisions: to deliberate matters pertaining to personnel matters including employee contract renewal/ no-renewals, as permitted by section 551.074, Texas Government Code; to deliberate matters pertaining to discipline of a student, as permitted by section 551.082, Texas Government Code; for discussion of personally identifiable student information as permitted by section 551.0821, Texas Government Code; to deliberate matters pertaining to real property, as permitted by section 551.072, Texas Government Code; to consult with legal counsel regarding legal issues, as permitted by section 551.071 and 551.0821, Texas Government Code.
