VIII.a.viii. Dakota County - SHIP Grant Approval - Worksite Wellness at Pinecrest Elementary
Description:
Pinecrest Elementary has been awarded a Statewide Health Improvement Program ("SHIP") grant in an amount not to exceed $2,0000 between the contract approval and October 31, 2025 from Dakota County. This money is to be used for "Employee Well-Being" with the plan to create a more inviting space in the staff lounge at Pinecrest. This could be done through the purchase of fresh paint for the walls, new seating, and a space within the lounge for teachers and staff to rejuvenate during non-duty times.
