Description:
Resolution to read:
I, _________________ , introduce the following resolution and move for its adoption: WHEREAS, School Board Policy 706 establishes guidelines for the acceptance of gifts and donations to the District; WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes Section 465.03 states that the School Board may accept a gift, grant, or devise of real or personal property in accordance with the terms prescribed by the donor only by the adoption of a resolution approved by two-thirds of its members; and WHEREAS, the referenced donations in the District 200 Donations Report from October to December 2020 have been generously donated. (ask for a second to the motion) _____________________ duly seconded the motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution. Voting in favor of the resolution: (there will need to be a roll call vote) THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Hastings Public School District School Board to gratefully accept these gifts.
