Texas Teacher Leadership Cycle 3 Grant
|
The Cycle 3 Teacher Leadership grant would provide Winona ISD the opportunity to plan and implement teacher fellowships. The intent of this program is to further professionalize teaching, provide teachers leadership pathways within local school systems, improve teacher retention, improve student outcomes, and increase opportunities for teachers to meaningful influence policy and program design and implementation at the local level.

Our grant will partner with a provider to develop and deliver teacher leadership while focusing on developing our human capital system.
|
Our application will request $30,000 to fund training and stipends for four teacher fellows (one at each campus and one at-large position). Teacher fellows are required to apply for the position and complete an interview process.
