Description:
Pursuant to Board policy BED, the Board will allow every person who wishes to address the board on an agenda item to do so before the board’s consideration of the item. The Board shall not deliberate regarding any subject that is not included on the agenda posted with notice of this meeting. This is a time for the Board to stop, look, and listen to public comments. Each speaker will be allowed three minutes to address the Board. We ask that speakers refrain from comments about any District employee without proper due process.

At the Regular Meeting on August 10, 2026, the Board approved revisions to Policy FNF(LOCAL). Under the Random Testing section, the policy previously read: "Random tests shall be conducted a minimum of five dates throughout the school year." Policy FNF(LOCAL) now states: "Random tests shall be conducted a minimum of three dates throughout the school year." |

VIII.B. Consider and Approve to Amend Board Policy BE (LOCAL) Regarding Regular Board Meeting Start Times

Description:
This item is presented for the Board to consider updating the standard start time for regular monthly meetings from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Adjusting the start time allows the Board to conduct district business, while ensuring the meeting remains accessible to the public outside of standard work hours. If approved, Policy BE (LOCAL) will be amended to reflect 6:00 p.m. as the official standard meeting time for future regular meetings.

VIII.C. Consider and Approve Rescheduling the January 2027 Regular Board Meeting

Due to the new posting requirements of the OMA, staff would have insufficient time to prepare and post the agenda for the January Regular meeting if it were to be held on January 11. Administration is recommending the meeting be moved to January 14,2027.
