1.G.5. Woods Cross High School Gym Air Conditioning (exhibit)

Description:
Air conditioning will be added to the main and auxiliary gymnasiums at Woods Cross High School. The work will consist of adding rooftop units and modifying existing air handlers in the building. Work will begin immediately and is expected to be completed this fall.

1.G.6. Woods Cross High Waterline Replacement Phase 2 (exhibit)

Description:
The existing galvanized culinary waterlines at Woods Cross High School are in need of replacement. The school has experienced numerous leaks, brown water, and a lack of pressure. The south half of the building’s waterlines were replaced last summer. The remainder of the building will be replaced with new copper waterlines this summer. Work will begin after school gets out in May and will be complete by August.

Description:
The chillers and cooling tower that provide the air conditioning at North Layton Junior High have reached the end of their useful life. The chillers and cooling tower will be replaced with new equipment. Work will begin this summer and will be completed this fall.

The existing boiler in the Kendell Building and one in the Administration Building will be replaced with new, energy efficient boilers. Work will begin immediately and is expected to be completed in October.

1.G.9. Northridge High School Kiln Ventilation (exhibit)

Description:
The existing gas fired kiln in the ceramics room at Northridge High School has been replaced with a new kiln. This required a new hood to capture the heat in the kiln room to be installed. A second hood to cover the existing electric kilns will also be installed. Work will begin in May and is expected to be completed in August.
