Description:
Advanced Percussion ensemble is a multi-faceted group of auditioned percussionists at Sunset Jr High. They accompany multiple groups at every concert, as well as performing their own music. They play a variety of instruments, from the typical drums to marimba, triangle, cymbals, and even a brake drum. Conducted by Sarah Johnson, they have received superior ratings at District and State festivals and at the Music in the Parks Festival at Lagoon.

1.G.3. Burton Elementary Addition GMP (exhibit)

Description:
Willmeng Construction, the Construction Manager/General Contractor, for the Burton Elementary Addition and Remodel project, bid the project to subcontractors on November 18, 2025 and established a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP). The project will add a new administrative office suite with a re-route vestibule and a more identifiable entrance to the school. The existing roof-top HVAC units will be replaced along with the roof which will receive some seismic improvements. Construction will begin immediately and is expected to be complete in the fall of 2026.
