I. Call to Order

II. Establish Quorum

III. If, during the course of the meeting, discussion of any item on the agenda should be held in a closed meeting, the board will conduct a closed meeting in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, Subchapters D and E or Texas Government Code section 418.183(f). Before any closed meeting is convened, the presiding officer will publicly identify the section or sections of the Act authorizing the closed meeting. All final votes, actions, or decisions will be taken in open meeting.

IV. Discuss Texas School Safety Center review of the 2024-2025 Bridge City ISD Multi-Hazard Emergency Operations Plan.  Review completed and district notified on March 28, 2025.

V. Provide information to committee regarding weekly audits of campus building access control per board policy CSA(Local) and TEC 37.109.

VI. Provide committee results of intruder detection audits:

• 04-02-2025-Middle School Campus-No negative findings/corrective actions
• 05-02-2025-Intermediate Campus-No negative findings/corrective actions

VII. Consult with local law enforcement to increase presence on campuses.

VIII. Provide confirmation to committee that updated campus maps have been sent to all local law enforcement agencies.

IX. Discussion and approval of District Safety and Security Committee Meeting Dates for 2025-2026 School Year:

X. Discuss Psychological First Aid Training and ask for certificates of completion to be forwarded to chair. TEC 37.108(f)(6)(C)(i).
