Board Recognition Month: Rising Above School Board Recognition Month January 2022

Consider and take possible action by Resolution #2022-01 on the sale of district real property described below, pursuant to Local Government Code Chapter 272 and authorize the Superintendent or his representative to enter into a Real Estate Sale Agreement with The County of Dimmit, and authorize the President of the Board of Trustees to execute a deed and other documents necessary to affect the conveyance of the Property.

Discussion and possible action to retain attorneys J Cruz & Associates, LLC, Walsh Gallegos Trevino Kyle & Robinson P.C. and O’Hanlon Demerath & Castillo to serve as the District’s legal counsel and representative in matters requiring legal services.

Appropriate action on consent agenda items as attached.

Discussion and possible action to approve the Carrizo Springs CISD Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the fiscal year ended August 31, 2021 – Garza / Gonzalez and Associates, CPA.
 

Discussion and possible action to approve Barrett Insurance Services, LLC and Newkirk & Newkirk as the insurance Broker of Record for the districts comprehensive medical and pharmaceutical coverage and all other voluntary benefits for fiscal year 2022-2023. 

Presentation and discussion regarding the analysis of the district facilities, needs assessment and estimated costs as presented by LPA, Inc.

Presentation and discussion on district facilities lighting by Mr. Rudy Rodriguez of Community Resource Group.
