Discussion and possible action to amend CCG (Local) school board policy to establish the procedures by which the School District can accept and review applications made under Chapter 313 of the Texas Property Code (Texas Economic Development Act) with the establishment of a fee of Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($75,000) to be submitted with each application and with said application being reviewed by the Board of Trustees, and if accepted, the application be submitted to the Texas Comptroller, who will either accept or reject the application, and any matter incident thereto.

Discussion and possible action to accept for consideration, from Cypress Creek Renewables d/b/a Shakes Solar, LLC, an Application for an Appraised Value Limitation on Qualified Property and assess an Application Fee as provided for under Local Board Policy CCG (Local) and authorized the Superintendent of Schools to review the Application for completeness and submit such Application to the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts and any other matters incident thereto.

Discussion and possible action to hire the Underwood Law Firm, PC as special counsel to provide legal services relating to consideration of Application and Agreement for Limitation on Appraised Value of Property under the Texas Economic Development Act, Texas Tax Code, Chapter 313 submitted by Cypress Creek Renewables d/b/a Shakes Solar, LLC, and to negotiate and draft any resulting Agreement for Limitation on Appraised Value on behalf of the District, and any other matters incident thereto.

Discussion and possible action to retain the financial consultants of Moak Casey & Associates to assist the District in processing and evaluating an Application for Appraised Value Limitation on Qualified Property submitted by Cypress Creek Renewables d/b/a Shakes Solar, LLC, and its financial impact on the School District by entering into a limitation agreement.
