1. Call to Order, Roll Call, and Establishment of Quorum

Videoconference Notice:
A quorum of the Board of Trustees will be physically present at the LDISD Central Services, Board Room, 104 Swisher Rd., Lake Dallas, TX 75065, and it is the intent to have a quorum of the Board present at that location. Pursuant to Texas Government Code 551.127 if a quorum of the Board is physically present at the designated location, other Trustees may attend and participate in this meeting via videoconference.

2. Public Comment

At special Board meetings, the Board shall permit public comment, regardless of whether the topic is an item on the agenda posted with notice of the meeting. Individuals who wish to participate during the Public comment portion of the meeting shall sign up with the presiding officer or designee before the meeting begins as specified in the Board’s procedures on public comment and shall indicate the agenda item or topic on which they wish to address the Board. An individual’s comments to the Board shall not exceed five minutes per meeting.

The open session of the meeting will adjourn. The Board of Trustees will reconvene in executive session pursuant to one or more of the sections of the Texas Open Meetings Act (Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code). The Board of Trustees will reconvene in open session to take any final action, decision, or vote on a matter deliberated in executive session.

• Conduct interviews of applicants for superintendent position, and consider and discuss same, pursuant to Tex. Gov’t Code 551.074.
• Consultation with legal counsel regarding issues related to superintendent search process, pursuant to Tex. Gov’t Code 551.071, 551.129.

5. Reconvene to Open Session

6. Consider and take possible action to name lone finalist for Superintendent position.
