Description:
Temple ISD seeks to partner with Johnson Brothers Ford to develop and provide practicum workforce experience in the automotive field. This course provides workforce readiness training and crowns the course sequence for the automotive program. This partnership will enhance the already established program to directly connect students to workforce beginning with the 2018-2019 school year. A copy of the agreement is included in the board packet.

VIII.D.1. Consideration for Approval of the Student Code of Conduct for 2018-2019
Description:
According to the Texas Education Code 37.001, the board of trustees of an independent school district is mandated to adopt a student code of conduct. This code is required to specific circumstances under which a student may be removed from a classroom or campus as well as specify conditions a student may or must be assigned to a DAEP or expelled from the district (and assigned to a JJAEP).

Description:
Each school year, the District updates its Parent and Student Handbooks with the assistance of campus / district administration and presents them to the Board for review. These handbooks are designed to provide basic information that parents and student might need during the school year from parental rights, attendance, dress code to health-related matters.
