6. Swear in Anna ISD Chief of Police. 

7. Hearing of Delegations. Any individual or group that is present and who has signed in may address the Board. Formal action may not be taken on any item(s) so addressed unless it is already an agenda item. Delegations will be allowed to address the Board for a reasonable period of time not to exceed five (5) minutes in relation to the designated topic. Please respect the privacy of others and refrain from identifying students or Anna ISD employees by name. The Board requests that comments on any subject, whether positive or negative, be courteous and respectful.

8. "Consent Agenda" - All items on Consent Agenda are considered to be routine and will be enacted with one motion. There will not be separate discussion of these item(s) unless a member of the governing body or a citizen so requests, in which event, these item(s) will be removed from the general course of business and considered in normal sequence (Local BE).

11. Discuss and take appropriate action on approved auditors for Anna ISD (Policy CH). 

12. Discuss and take appropriate action on the repeal of all previously adopted policies and adoption of (LOCAL) policies as prepared by TASB Policy Service (see attached list). 

13. Discuss and take appropriate action on the proposed 2017-2018 teacher salary schedule and increases to auxiliary and administration salary scales (Policy CE). 

14. Discuss and take appropriate action on moving the June board meeting to June 8, 2017.

16. Discuss and take appropriate action on the purchase of three maintenance department vehicles (Policy CH)

17. Transportation Report. Discuss and take appropriate action for the purchase of two school buses (Policy CH). 

18. Closed Session in accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Section 551.074, Texas Government Code Section 551.072, Texas Government Code Section 551.076, Texas Government Code Section 418.183 and Texas Government Code Section 551.071 (Policy BE). 

18.A. Pursuant to Section 551.074, Texas Government Code, Deliberations regarding recommendation for termination of probationary contract employee at the end of the current contract year.

18.B. Pursuant to Section 551.071, Texas Government Code, Consultation with District legal counsel regarding legal and procedural issues related to termination of probationary contract employee at the end of the current contract period.

18.C. Consider renewal of teachers/professional staff member contracts. 

18.D. Consultation with legal counsel regarding minor annexation pursuant to section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code, the consultation may take place via telephone conference pursuant to section 551.129 of the Texas Government Code.

18.E. Real Property - Deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property.

18.F. Personnel Matters - Deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dimissal of a public officer or employee.

19. Action pursuant to Executive Session items.

19.A. Consideration and possible action on recommendation for termination of probationary contract teacher at the end of the current contract year.

19.B. Approve teacher and professional staff contracts as presented by District Administration.
