7. Closed Session. Closed Session will be held for the purposes authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Section 551.001 et seq. concerning any and all purposes permitted by the Act, including but not limited to the sections and purposes listed below.

Consult with district legal counsel to discuss pending litigation against the District, including possible resolution, in Civil Action No. 6:23-cv-00186-ADA-DTG, pending in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, pursuant to Texas Government Code Sections 551.071 and 551.129.

7.B. Discuss the Superintendent's Monthly Personnel Report. (For the purpose of considering the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of a public officer or employee or to hear complaints or charges against a public officer or employee pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.074.)

7.C. Discuss a confidential student discipline matter. (For the purpose of deliberating a matter regarding a public school student if personally identifiable information about the student will necessarily be revealed by the deliberation pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.0821.)

8. Reconvene from Closed Session. The Board will reconvene for possible action relative to items considered during Closed Session.
