1. Call to order and verification that a quorum of Board Members is present, that this meeting has been duly called, and that notice of this meeting has been posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551.

5. Action. Consideration and possible action by the Board to approve the final budget amendment for the 2021-2022 fiscal year. [District Goal #5]

6. Public Hearing. 2022-2023 West ISD Budget, Proposed Tax Rate, Voter Approval Tax Rate Election (VATRE), and Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief I-III (ESSER I-III) Budget. Note: The proposed 2022-2023 West ISD total Maintenance and Operations Expenses are $14,126,314.00, and the total West ISD Tax Rate is $1.147530. Note: Property appraisals, which influence the effective tax rate, are not determined by West ISD. [District Goal #4]

7. Action. Consideration and possible action by the Board to approve the 2022-2023 West ISD Budget. Note: The total 2022-2023 West ISD Maintenance and Operations Expenses are $14,126,314.00. [District Goals #1-5]

8. Action. Consideration and possible action by the Board to adopt the 2022-2023 Tax Rate of $1.147530 per $100 valuation to be divided as follows: $0.884600 Maintenance and Operations; and $0.262934 Interest and Sinking.

Statement Required in the Ordinance, Resolution, or Order Setting This Year's Tax Rate: THIS TAX RATE WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE. [District Goals #1-5]

10. Action. Consideration and possible action by the Board to approve the 2022-2023 West ISD Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief I-III (ESSER I-III) Funds Budget Plan. [District Goals #1 and 5]

11. Action. Consideration and possible action by the Board to approve the use of the Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS) Cooperative Method for the procurement of the Vape Detector and Indoor Air Quality Monitoring Devices for West Middle/High School. [District Goals #1-5]

12. Action. Consideration and possible action by the Board to approve the recommended changes to West ISD Policy DEC (LOCAL), Compensation and Benefits - Payment for Accumulated Leave Upon Retirement. [District Goals #1, 3, and 5]

13. Closed/Executive Session. Adjourn to Closed/Executive Session pursuant to Texas Government Code §551.071 (Consulting privately with the Board’s attorney), §551.129 (Consulting privately with the Board’s attorney telephonically), and §551.074 (Personnel, to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of a public officer or employee, specifically to discuss).
