Note: The proposed 2021-2022 West ISD total Maintenance and Operations Expenses are $13,539,332.00, and the total West ISD Tax Rate is $1.37000. 9. Action. Consideration and possible action by the Board to adopt the 2021-2022 Tax Rate of $1.37000 per $100 valuation to be divided as follows: $0.8931 Maintenance and Operations; and $0.4769 Interest and Sinking.
Statement Required in the Ordinance, Resolution, or Order Setting This Year's Tax Rate: THIS TAX RATE WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE. Note: The taxes for Maintenance and Operations did not increase. The taxes for Interest and Sinking did increase due to the West ISD New West Elementary School Bond Construction Project.
