1. Pursuant to Governor Abbott's Temporary Suspension of Open Meetings Laws issued on March 16, 2020, this Regular Board Meeting of the West ISD Board of Trustees will be conducted via video conference and telephone call. The video conference will be audible to the Board and public and allow for two-way communication. The Board of Trustees will not be physically present at one location, but a Quorum will be required for the meeting on the video conference or phone.
The public may access this virtual meeting via the link found on the calendar on the West ISD website at www.westisd.net. A link to the online agenda is also available under the "Board" header on this same website. Any public comments must be submitted between 8:00 AM on Monday, March 1, and 4:00 PM on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, by emailing the comments to publiccomment@westisd.net. All public comments shall be submitted to this email address and will be read to the Board of Trustees for consideration. |

9. Action. Consideration and possible action by the Board to approve revisions to West ISD Board Policy DC(LOCAL). The purpose of this request is to delegate authority to the Superintendent to hire teachers in the time periods between Regular Board Meetings in the months of March, April, May, June, July, and August 2021. 10. Action. Consideration and possible action by the Board to adopt the prevailing wage schedule for McLennan County, as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act, to be used by all contractors as the Prevailing Wage Schedule for all District Construction Projects. 11. Action. Consideration and possible action by the Board to approve the Texas Education Agency's (TEA) Missed School Days General State Waiver for the period of Friday, February 12, through Friday, February 19, 2021. Note: Monday, February 15, 2021, was Presidents' Day, and a previously scheduled and approved student and staff holiday. [District Goals #1 and 5]

12. Action. Consideration and possible action by the Board to approve the Resolution Regarding Payment of Employees during the Emergency School Closure period of Friday, February 12, through Friday, February 19, 2021. Note: Monday, February 15, 2021, was Presidents' Day, and a previously scheduled and approved student and staff holiday. [District Goals #1-5]

13. Action. Consideration and possible action by the Board to approve Mr. Bill Killian as the Place 1 ESC Region 12 Board Member for McLennan County. Note: Each individual Board Member vote for Mr. Killian will count as one vote on the ballot tally. [District Goal #4]
